Subject: Great time in Barrie
Hello
I wanted to thank the organizers of this event. We found out about it on google, went to your website and signed up - super easy. Great website! Most tournaments don't have this type of set-up yet, and it was appreciated as we were from out of town - Toronto.
We have never caught so many perch! Although we didn't win any prizes or catch any tagged fish, we'll be back!
thanks again
Steve

To whom it may concern,
I wanted to write to thank you for organizing the Barrie Fall Fishing Festival. I have lived in Barrie for over four years and have to say how much I appreciate the strong sense of community we have. I have been on the waterfront at 7am with coffee in hand watching the sun rise while catching perch every day this week. That is something that I would otherwise not do, but thanks to the Barrie Fall Fishing Festival it gives me the opportunity to enjoy the great fall mornings! As we grow as a city it is imperative that we continue to hold on to these amazing community events that make Barrie the unique amazing place it is to live!
On the same note, it is amazing to see the community response, families gathering together and casting a line in the hopes of catching one of the many tagged perch! It is a great opportunity for parents, kids and fishermen alike who do not have access to boats to participate in a week long fishing experience as perch can easily be caught from shore!
Thank you again to everyone behind the scenes that have worked so hard and to all the local businesses who support such a great community event!
May your lines be tight and the tagger perch be landed!
Best Regards,
Justin Maat
